My retrieval date is set for Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
To prepare, I borrowed some loose clothing from a friend to wear after the retrieval, bought a 24 case of Gatorade for $20 (really great deal!), booked a hotel 15 min away from the clinic, made childcare arrangements, bought some new books in anticipation of spending a lot of time in bed, and packed the necessities for my overnight stay at the hotel (including Tylonel and Gravol).
I have a very positive outlook going into this. I’m sure everything will go well.
